We’re heading back to Oz! We last stopped off in Australasia for Andras Fox’s excellent EP, and this time we’re dropping in on his friend, associate and fellow beatmaker – Ben Houghton.

Ben has talent. He’s got Sax, Keys, Bass, Guitar and Turntables under his belt. In the studio, he has Deep House, Disco Hip Hop and downright sleazy futuristic wonky beatdown all covered. Check.

But Ben also has something else; something special and something essential to music – he has feeling. His tracks are packed full of emotion, and his use of vintage and low-tech studio hardware adds a touch of depth and personality to his tracks which is often mssing in electronic music these days.

And of course, they work brilliantly on the dancefloor…
